His Dark Materials — My Daemon

For the second season of His Dark Materials on HBO and BBC, Framestore partnered with the network to create an iOS and Apple Watch app. Fans are assigned a personalized dæmon — the magical animal companions that serve as extensions of characters' souls in the show — which they interact with by updating their mental and physical state. The dæmon recommends wellness tasks and grows healthier as users engage. Built on Unreal Engine with real-time AR.
